Peacefully with her family by her side on Friday January 27, 2017. Jean, beloved wife of the late Allan Ireland. Dear mother of Deanna (Ross Edgerton, Laurie (Rob Johnson) and Sherri (Lisa Oelke). Loving grandmother of Jason Brock (Sue), Kim Brock (Ken Goselin), Shannon (Rich Muise) and Jim Johnson (Kayla Brayley). Great grandmother of Adanna, Dylan, Mataya, Brayden and Kenny. Pre-deceased by sisters Pauline Lavigne, Clarice Pelletier and Ida Zwetch. The family would like to thank good friends Mary McArthur and Lise Ralph and their families for their support over the years. Sincere appreciation to Lisa Doyle and the staff at Peterborough Retirement Home. Special thanks to Doctor Marta Wesolowski, who took the time to understand Jean’s wishes and Dr.’s Ball and Chow. We are also grateful for the care by the nurses PRHC 6th floor especially Kim and Alee. Family and Friends are invited to call at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME 840 Armour Road (Just north of Parkhill). On Wednesday February 1 from 5-8pm and again on Thursday February 2nd at 10am, Service at 11am. Reception to follow. Private interment at Hillside Cemetery Lakefield.
