Warren was a great teacher. He went above and beyond his job to ensure that every student understood the material that was being taught. He will be missed at Fleming College.

One of the few very inspiring teachers that you get a chance to have. He was never mean but always able to tell it like it is. Everyone of his students was lucky to have him, and it's a shame no one will ever have that distinct pleasure again.

I had Warren as my teacher last year, he was a wonderful person and teacher. He always helped you when you needed it. He will be missed by everyone for how great of a person he is. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am very sorry for your loss. I had Warren as a professor last semester. His dedication and passion for teaching and for his students was remarkable. He will be sorely missed.

CAPIC owed much to his efforts on behalf of the Canadian Region of APICS, and I was both proud and very pleased to work with him in this effort.

My deepest sympathies to the family on Warren's sudden departure. I had the pleasure of his humour and mentorship at Fleming. Warren was a shining example to those around him of a fun, caring and thoughtful person. I feel fortunate to have known him, even for a short time.

I was truly sorry to learn about Warren's passing. I very much enjoyed working with him at Fleming. What a wonderful colleague and dedicated faculty member he was!

I am very sorry for your loss. I became very close to Warren last semester at Fleming. Warren was never satisfied until the needs of his students were met.  I can recall many occasions where Warren would remain in class with us until he was sure we comprehend all the material for that day. I am proud to have been taught by someone so compassionate and caring.  Warren will be deeply missed.

It was sad to hear of Warren's sudden passing.  He and I have played and worked together in a number of capacities over the years and I will miss his energy and sense of humour. To the family I send my prayers and hope you can find the strength to cope with your loss while you hold your memories of Warren for comfort.

Dear Sonja, Brad and Jennifer,
I was absolutely shocked and greatly saddened upon learning the news of Warren's passing.  I first met him at Fisher Gauge when we shared an office building and would spend an endless time talking about sushi and gall stones!  We worked together in my consulting business as well and often, he talked glowingly about Brad and Jennifer and how proud he was of them (you guys were his precious jewels).  Sonja, he then started to talk about this wonderful lady he met (you) and how head over heels he was.  He was a true gentleman and great friend.  I cannot fathom how you must feel at this time, but please know that he will be dearly missed by many people who thought the world of him.  Please accept our condolences and prayers.

Sonya, Brad and Jennifer:

It was a tremendous shock to hear of Warren's sudden passing.  I had planned to give him a call later this month to schedule a long overdue visit with him, the next time I was heading to Toronto visit my son.

We had a lot of good times in our APICS travels (remember Kelowna -- Brad?) and I will never forget Warren's dry laugh and engaging humour -- cutting as it was sometimes!

Sonya, it is unfortunate that we only got to spend one afternoon together but it was a pleasure meeting you, and it was great to see the "old" Warren back after he met you.

I hope to make it to the visitation on Tuesday evening if at all possible.

All my sympathy to everyone during this difficult time.

Jenn, Brad and Sonja we are extremely sorry for the loss of your dad and husband.  Warren will be deeply missed by the Burgess family.  He was a wonderful man and a very proud dad. I'm sorry to hear of Warren's passing.  I valued the dedication he gave to his students.  He showed us all a passion for learning and having at the same time.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I worked with Warren at Fleming College and he was such a caring person, who always went out of his way to help students.  He will be very much missed.

Sonja - we've not met but for a number of years Warren and I worked together in the local chapter of CAPIC.  My wife, Vicky, and I have very happy menories of social occasions spent in his company. Warren was a loyal and trusted friend. We are so sorry to hear of his death.
