Peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on Saturday, May 17, 2008, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Flora (nee Davey) (84 years, married for 67 years). Loving father of his three sons, James Richard of Peterborough, On, Carl Wilfred of Barrie, On, and Donald Gilchrist of Burlington, On. Lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Stefphanie Leigh, daughter of James and Donna, Carissa and Craig, children of Carl and Christina, Alysha, Ashley, and Matthew, children of Donald and Marlene, and his 2 great grandchildren Riddick Xander, son of Stefphanie Leigh and Mya Danielle, daughter of Alysha.

Wilfred a dedicated Watchmaker, Farmer, Husband and Father will be dearly missed by his family. A private inurnment took place Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
