BEADMAN, William Maxwell – On Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at his home in Keene, with his family at his side, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, Bill Beadman entered into eternity with his Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ. Bill of Keene, formerly of Cochrane, in his 86th year.
Bill was the beloved husband of Carol Wagner for 22 years, and the late Betty Symons for 43 years. Loving father of Tim Beadman, Darren Burry, Dallas Burry (Randy), Cameron Rennie and the late Betty Ann Beadman and Darrell Burry.
Dear grandfather of Cara (Mike), Krystal (Francesco), Nadia, Kassandra (Braedon) and Kurtis. Great grandfather of Riley, Austin, Chiara and Maddalena. Brother of Betty Andrews, Doris Smith (Doug) and the late Tom and Jim. Son of the late Pricilla (nee Bain) and Hubert Beadman.
In his early years, Bill was a Foreman of the P.U.C. in Cochrane, ON. As a man with a strong work ethic, ambition and humility, Bill poured his life and heart into his church; building, renovating and caregiving of houses, furniture and lives of others. Always putting others first, Bill used his wisdom to mentor, guide and bless all those around him. A man and master of many talents, he not only warmed your heart but your belly with his amazing cooking.
Bill’s strong Christian faith defined who he was. His ‘walk’ often surpassed his ‘talk’, his beautiful countenance touched so many people. The impact he left in the lives of family and friends will forever be remembered and treasured deep within.
In celebration of his life, there will be a visitation at MURRAY STREET BAPTIST CHURCH, 175 Murray Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, March 4th from 12 – 1 pm with a service to follow at 1 pm. A reception will follow after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that any donations be made to Bill’s home church, Murray Street Baptist. Condolences to the family and directions to the service at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca or by calling 705-740-0444.
The family wish to express their appreciation for the medical services of Dr. Friesen, the nursing staff of St. Elizabeth, Hospice Peterborough and the many others who visited, called, sent cards and food to show Bill how much he was loved and appreciated. He will never be forgotten.
