BELLINGER; William “Bill” MacKay (WWII veteran); Peacefully surrounded by family on Monday October 2, 2023 at the age of 104. Beloved husband of Shirley Bernice Humphrey (1983). Father of Caroline Roberts and Linda Epp (Terrance “Terry”). Loving grandfather of Bryn Epp (Cassandra), Duane Epp (Kate), Kyle Epp (Amanda) and Kathleen Roberts (Michael). Great grandfather of Peter, Dinah, Alice, Charles, Makayla, Andrew, Carson, William “Liam”, Lacienne “Laci” and Lochlan. Brother of the late Anna, Lewis, Bobby, Elaine and John. Bill will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Visitation will be held at COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street Peterborough from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday Oct. 10 and 11:45 pm to 12:45 pm Wednesday Oct. 11. The service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm, followed by interment at Dawson Cemetery. For those who wish to help celebrate Bill’s life, there will be a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #402 Millbrook following the interment. At the request of the family, please be scent free (flowers gratefully declined).
