It is with profound sadness that we must accept the passing of Bill. He has been so much to so many. First and foremost a loving family man. Husband and best friend for 54 years to Lynne. Devoted father to Robin Paisley (Stephen Dempsey) of Toronto and Holly O’Brien (Craig) of Douro. Proud grandfather of Eric and Dana Paisley, Samuel and Cheyenne O’Brien. Cherished brother of Margaret Wood (Don) of Lakefield. Uncle of Jessie Topic (Ian) of Arizona and Dan Wood (Kendra) of California.
Bill was a respected businessman in the community and Co-Owner of KESCO Electric and volunteered with the Ennismore Fire Department for more than 20 years. In his youth, Bill developed a love of music (that good ‘ol R&R) and drag racing. He spent his spare time chasing his passions as an avid snowmobiler, fisherman and truck puller. He will be deeply missed by his extended family: Ross Detweiler of Elora, Dan Detweiler of Rockwood, Susan and John Osborne of Guelph, Patti and Dave Scott of Petawawa as well as nieces and nephews: Matt, Ben, Emma, Amy, Riley-Jay, Dennis, Ashely, Sierra, James and Colton. Pre-deceased by his father George and mother Elsie of Peterborough. We love you honey.
