Phillip, I was a client of your father's and he spoke to me very proudly and lovingly of his son. It was an honour to have met your dad. (Jenneth Hiebert-Peterborough)

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Bill. We just found out today and wish we could have said goodbye. He was like David in David & Goliath to us. His infectious laugh and positive spirit was inspiring. We were his clients but he always made us feel like more. He will be missed by our family, and we are so glad we were given the chance to be graced by his presence.

Philip and Shari I am so sorry for your loss. This is not only tragic for you and your family but a loss of a good humanitarian in the community. Words will not replace your grief and sadness but hopefully the warm wishes from caring friends will let you know how important you are to so many. May these thoughts from friends at least serve to warm your hearts and let you know that you are not alone and you are cared for by so many of us who's lives have been touched by your presence.

Philip I lost both my parents when I was in my early 20's, their passing was both sudden and tragic. I do from this experience know some of the feeling that you are experiencing. Your Dad may not be with you in person but he will always be with you in spirit. You are such a talented young man with a brilliant future ahead. Make your Dad proud every day by showing him the good values he instilled in you; succeed in life, live for today, love deeply, dream big and he will win through your efforts. I was very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was very good to me both as a friend & a lawyer through some hard times. I always enjoyed it when he came to visit my family at Papineau Lake. My condolences to all. Hang on to the good memories.
Rest in peace Bill & you will never been forgotten.

Bill was our lawyer, a business associate, a fellow Queen’s Alumnus and most importantly, a friend.

I will always remember our many lunches shared over a pint of beer. Shari may recall a dinner party that didn’t quite go as planned due to an active stomach that Philip encountered that evening. It wasn’t our cooking Phil, honest!

We send our deepest condolences to the entire Hampton family. Take comfort in knowing that Bill was a very good man who helped many. The funeral service on Thursday was beautiful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Be strong Phil. As a small tribute to your Dad, we attended your Gold Medal hockey game on Sunday in Belleville. Congratulations on winning the OMHA Championship. It was an excellent game with many tense moments. Good luck at the OHF Championship next week. The Telus Cup is in sight. Take comfort in the knowledge that your Dad is with you with every stride you take.

Rest In Peace Bill. You will never be forgotten.

Hampton Family,

Very sad to learn of your loss. Although I did not know him personally, whenever you spoke of Bill it was so often in reference to his infinite kindness and generosity. In reading the messages in this guest book it is obvious that Bill was very special to a lot of people who were touched by these qualities.
My condolences.
