William Harold Hope

Passed away peacefully at home Tuesday December 11th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 62. Billy will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Paula (nee Frise) Hope of 31 years. Proud father of his sons William, and Robert (Erin Young), and Gus the dog. Brother of Debra (Wayne) Richardson, Richard (Kathy) Hope. Brother-in-Law of Leslie Frise (Lloyd), Susan (Ian) Gordon, and Meredith Frise. Son of the late W.Harold Hope and Lorene (nee Crowley) Hope. Son-In-Law of Edna and the late Paul Frise. Cherished Uncle and Great-Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Billy spent 35 dedicated years working in the trucking and aggregate industry. He cherished his family and friends. He especially enjoyed lacrosse and hockey. A special thank you to his care workers from St. Elizabeth, ParaMed and Dr. Whiting. A heartfelt thank you to the team at Young Aggregates; especially Donny and Stephanie Young. Visitation will take place Friday December 14th, 2018 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 7:00- 9:00 p.m. at Ashburnham Funeral Home (840 Armour Road, Peterborough). A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church (300 Wilson Street, Peterborough) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday December 15th, 2018 with burial to follow at Little Lake Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
