William James Tobin

On April 26, 2024 Bill was taken from us way too soon. Bill was an out going, loving, affectionate father, brother, son and uncle. During his short stay on this earth he touched many lives. Everyone who knew him, knew his sense of humour, his laugh and his love for life. Bill enjoyed his stays at the cottage on Catchacoma, camping at various parks near home, and our cabin on Buckhorn Lake. His favourite meal of the day for years has been “Dippy eggs and wiggly bacon” with white toast and chocolate milk!

He will be missed by his beloved daughters Isabel, Layton, (mother Cass) and Adeline, (mother Alana),his mother Cathy Taylor (Wayne), his father Dan Tobin (Leslie), his brothers Adam Tobin (Melissa) , Daniel Tobin (Amy), Matthew Tobin (pre deceased), his step sisters Steph Taylor (Ryan), Alison Taylor (Alex), his nephews and niece Parker, Emmett, Brooklyn, Reid and Aiden Tobin, Max Haynes.

A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Saturday May 18, 2024 from 1-5pm at the Lakefield Legion, 10 Nicholls Street, Lakefield. Online condolences may be made at AshburnhamFuneral.ca
