He was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 28th, 1953, the son of Milton and Ruth “Penny“ Schwartz, who preceded him in death.
Adam graduated from Highland Park High School in Highland Park, New Jersey in 1971, and graduated from Northern Arizona University and the Palmer School of Chiropractic in California. He was a chiropractor for 20 years in South Austin at Live Oak Chiropractic and Oak Hill Healing Arts.
Prior to his practice in chiropractic, Adam worked for the Forestry Service in Arizona, in the 70’s and 80’s.
Adam is survived by his wife, Emma Schwartz and his former wife, Marianne Lewis-Bass; his sons, Aram and Fernando Schwartz; stepdaughter, Jessica Bass and grandchild, Valentina Schwartz. He is also survived by his brother, Philip Schwartz of Austin, Texas.
A graveside will begin at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
