Dear Ellie - I was very shocked and upset to hear that you have lost Al. I knew he was ill but I didn't realize he had so little time left. He was a brilliant man and I'll truly miss our talks about computers. He may have had life snatched away from him early, but I know the years you and he were together were the best ones of his life. He was very lucky to have you – and knew it. With every sympathy and love … Renne Hernandez (Hutto Tx)

We first met Al, Ellie and Alex when our boys played baseball together several years ago. We met up again when the boys were in high school playing golf together for their school. Al was like a second father to our son and he truely appreciated all of his wisdom he shared. We were lucky to all have spent time with Al, Ellie and Alex, our extended family. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Al was a great soul with a heart of gold and will be missed by all. Our condolences to Ellie, Alex, Nicole and the rest of the family. The Santos family - Michael, D'Ann and Mikey.

Ellie, Alex, and Nicole, please accept my most sincerest condolences on your lost. I could only image the void. Even though it has been years since I last spoke or saw Al, his death impacted me in ways difficult to put into words. To know Al is to love Al. His candor and his ability to bring out the best in others was second to none. His zest for life and his desire to live it with purpose was something that made him unique and made others want to be associated with him. He was always proud of his lovely wife Ellie, and I was always impressed with his commitment to her. My condolences to Renee, Mark, and his mom, Mary and Step Dad, Claude, and to Adam and Olivia and Selena and Anna. I will keep the entire family in my daily thoughts and prayers. In retrospect, Al truly was an inspiration to me and in all honestly, truly a brother to me. I never got to personally thank him for being that friend and brother to me. Just know, he was and I appreciated it. God Bless you Ellie. So sorry for your lost.
