Alex Arevalo Cerda, born September 13, 1959 to Lewis Cerda and Lucille Arevalo at Breckenridge hospital in Austin Texas passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Manor Texas on Thursday, August 15, 2024.
Alex is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Cerda; his grandparents, Ralph and Mary Arevalo; and his beloved son, Anthony Cerda. Alex is survived by his Love, Becky Boyd; his two daughters, Christina Cerda and Jessica Lopez; and his son, Andrew Cerda along with numerous grandchildren.
Alex was a Tow Truck Operator for over forty years. He had a high respect for law enforcement and first responders. He was a dedicated operator to many companies over the years, and spent his last years at Aviles and Gabes wrecker service doing what he loved best. Alex will be dearly missed by everyone he loved.
Services are Thursday, August 22nd at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas 78660. The viewing will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Celebration of life to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Wells Branch Community Center 2106 Klattenhoff Drive, Austin, Texas 78728.
