Alice Ann Miertschin, 68, of Austin died in her home on Thursday, July 29, 2010. She was a long-time resident of Austin, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed tending to her garden, baking and cooking for friends and family and taking care of her many pets.
Viewing will be at 1:00- 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral home, Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the Viewing with Reverend Terry Tope officiating. Burial will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Miertschin of Austin, sons Ronnie Miertschin and wife Brenda, Dennis Miertschin and wife Angie, Keith Miertschin and wife Vicki, daughter Annette Schlumpf and husband Chris, sisters Gladys Wilhelm and husband Lee Henderson, Adeline Odell and husband Hal, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
