

Amanda Harden was born November 1st, 1986 in Austin, Texas to Robert and Betty Duke. Amanda was a beacon of light for all around her, brightening the lives of everyone she met. She was a wonderful daughter and sister, devoted mother, and loving wife. She had a talent for making friends regardless of the situation and an unending capacity to love and care for all.
Amanda met Wesley Harden online in World of Warcraft. They quickly grew close and then madly in love. They married November 21st, 2015 in Navarre, Florida, then re-upped their vows on their first anniversary in Granbury, Texas with friends and family. They were blessed with a child, a wonderful boy named John on August 6th, 2018.
Amanda worked for many years in a variety of jobs, but wanted to pursue her passion in plants and botany. She was attending college for her degree in Plant Science. Her favorite hobbies were reading, gardening, and playing video games, in which she built a large group of friends and guilds who love and support.
Amanda’s family and close friends gathered for a time of visitation followed by a family-led service remembering Amanda. She was laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas at 2:30 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020.
