Angela L. Woods-Meyer

Angela was born May 16, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas to Lonnie and Bernice Woods. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1986, later receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in English from Texas A&M in 1993.

Angela was employed at Pantex in Amarillo for several years. She moved to Austin in 1999, and was currently employed with Dell Computers Inc., as an Implementation Manager. She also worked at the Austin Farmers’ Market, where she designed and sold her own jewelry.

Angela married David Nicholas Meyer in 1999. To this union, three children were born: a son, Harrison Michael, 14, and two daughters, Hailey Nichol, 11, and Harte Laura, 5. She was very involved with her children’s activities, very fun and carefree, and always enjoyed making others laugh. Angela was very devoted to her family and friends.

Angela was survived by her loving husband and children, all of Pflugerville, Texas; her parents Lonnie and Bernice Woods of Amarillo; sister Lisa Woods of Amarillo; brothers Dale Woods of Hereford, Greg Woods and wife Regina of Amarillo, Michael Woods and wife Maureen of Savannah, Georgia. Her El Paso family includes Marjorie Meyer, mother-in-law, of Chaparral, and sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, all of whom loved Angela dearly.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 N. IH35 Pflugerville, TX 78660. Services will be on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
