

Ann is survived by her children, Betty Sue Rose (Orlando, FL), Charles Louis Farrar (Tulsa, OK), and Julie Ann Farrar (Austin, TX); six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Ann was also blessed with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ann was a native of Houston and longtime resident of Austin. She dearly loved her Houston Oilers and Astros.
Ann’s career included 18 years at Weingarten and the Harris County Probation Department, and over 20 years at Holt, Rinehart & Winston, which she retired from in 2011.
Ann had a strong sense of family and a deep passion for genealogy. She spent many years researching her family history and traveled many back roads to visit gravesites and historic birth places. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, and playing slot machines.
Ann was truly blessed by her daughter, Julie, who lovingly cared for her and was always by her side.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas with interment to follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
