Almost 2 years later, since I've been out of touch for such a long time, I find that Art has passed through the Pearly Gates.  Saddened to know that he is gone from this earthly life.
Art and I worked together for Tim Burr at Burr-Day Transportation and for Texas Warehouse and Machinery Movers.  I always looked up to Art and he had much respect from me for his knowledge of the business, his hard working ethics and his kind and caring ways.  Not too many men like him in this world these days ... he was old school - he was good to his fellow man.  His birthday was the day after mine and it was kind of a yearly thing to see who was going to wish who a happy birthday first, even if mine was a day before his.  I always liked letting him know I knew his birthday was coming up the next day.  He appreciated that and  I appreciated him.
I bet he and Tim are having a great time up there in Heaven reliving the old days.

It's seems so strange, I cant pick up the phone to call you, and you call me asking for your prescription to be picked up. I never knew just how much I loved you Daddy until they called me and said you were gone!!!

I thank God I was able to see you on William's Golden Birthday on the 14th. We all where so happy and having such a great time. You have a great time in Heaven Daddy, and please watch over us every now and then. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family, especially your love for us. Your Daughter
