Audrey Marie Liming, born November 11, 1974, passed away on Sunday, October 4 at her home in Temple, Texas where she lived with her beloved son, Jack Henry, age 2-1/2. She is survived by her father, Brett Liming and wife, Suzi of Pflugerville; her mother, Cathy Fullinwider and stepfather, Robert of Georgetown; her stepmother, Leanne Carl; sister, Kimberly Huffman and husband, Neil and their children, Jake and Hannah, of Leander; sister, Delaney Jo Hernandez and husband Lucas of Austin; uncles, Kent Liming of Driftwood, Gary Liming of Canyon Lake, John McDaniel of Arkansas; aunts, Mary Dickey and husband, Brett, of Cypress, Texas, and Carla McDaniel of Cypress, Texas; along with many cousins and friends. There will be a tremendous void in our lives without her loving spirit and gregarious laugh. She was truly one of a kind.
Audrey was a graduate of Westwood High School in Austin and attended Southwest University in San Marcos, graduating with a B.S.in geographic information systems. She had worked in Austin, California, Midland and was last employed at Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Her strong suit was her creativity. She relished the hunt for bargains at garage sales and the bric-a-brac at Goodwill. She had a knack for turning her finds into great gifts for others and fashioning outfits into those that looked like a million bucks. She was happiest when she could plan baby or bridal showers, birthday parties with her designed party favors; anything that would make her friends happy. She always thought of ways to brighten someone's day, truly caring for others above herself. She loved animals and has rescued so many dogs over the years, like her beloved, Lucy.
The absolute love of her life was her son, Jack Henry. She gave to him her all, and did he ever love his mama. He was her greatest achievement and she had the pictures to prove it. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives. She brought so much joy, not just to friends and family, but was quick to help strangers in need by donating her time, clothing, and creations to those who needed a boost in life. We are heartbroken and will miss her till we see her again.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2015, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Sunday, October 18, 2015 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
