Austin Sar Fisher, 34, of Hutto, Texas, went to his heavenly home on March 5, 2021.
Austin graced the world with his presence on August 10, 1986 in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Connally High School in 2005, leaving there with his diploma and many lifelong friends. Austin was a self-taught, self-educated, and self-proclaimed nerd that had a mind for learning everything he needed and hands for fixing anything he wanted.
Austin met his future wife, Andrea, at the tender age of 17 years old. Kindred spirits, they married in Georgetown, Texas in the spring of 2012 and lived happily in Hutto, where they purchased their family home to raise their three sons.
Austin worked as a senior technician at Tomco Services for more than ten years and was considered a valued employee. He was actively involved in his son’s sports, schoolwork, and activities, but was most known for helping anyone that needed help. Austin would give the shirt off his back to anyone, which worked to his advantage because he hated wearing shirts anyway.
Austin enjoyed the simpler things in life. You would often find him enjoying family vacations that included an annual cruise. He absolutely loved car shows and would geek out over all the latest and greatest technology. That reflected in his favorite pastime as a gamer, even teaching his boys how to build their own systems and spending countless hours gaming with them. He enjoyed going to Heat Wave every year and loved any kind of concert. He also loved to gamble, always hoping to hit it big for his family. Austin loved swimming with the kids every chance he got during the summer and going fishing, even though he never caught a fish (proving there was at least one thing he wasn’t good at.) He would often say his favorite place was home, surrounded by family and friends.
Austin is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Gordon Francis Fisher and Winifred Elizabeth Henry (Fisher), as well as his maternal grandfather, Be Sar.
Austin is survived by his wife, Andrea Fisher, and their three sons, Gavohn, Greyson, and Garrett; his parents, John and Vanna Fisher; his sister, Renae; nieces and nephews, Mary, Joey, Timothy, and Emily; his father-in-law, David Galvan and wife, Kim; brother-in-law, David Galvan, Jr.; sister-in-law, Stacey Kurazawa; grandmother, Khann Sao; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Austin also leaves behind so many good friends. His impact on the world seems limitless.
The viewing for Austin Fisher will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021, at the Cook-Walden Funeral Home at 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for family and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the public. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at 6100 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, Texas 78752 and will be immediately followed by a committal service and burial in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
