Barbara Gail Hardin, 79, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12. She was born in Austin, Texas on April 6, 1941 to Fred and Fern Falke and was a graduate of Travis High School.
Barbara worked for the City of Austin for several years as an Executive Secretary, until retiring.
She loved being on the water, whether lake or coast and fishing on her boat. She also had a green thumb and she enjoyed working in her yard, with her constant companion for over 16 years, her dog Scarlet, by her side.
She is survived by her three children~
Daughter, Teresa Toungate, and her husband, Mark, from Austin
Son, Mark Haldeman and his wife Priscilla, from Corpus Christi
Son, David Haldeman and his wife Priscilla, from San Antonio,
11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who cared for her during her illness.
The funeral service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel, 14501 N. I-35, Pflugerville, TX, 78660, Tuesday, April 18 at 3:30 p.m.
