Barbara was born on December 4, 1929 in Lockhart, Texas to the late Encarnacion Riojas and Carmen (Ancira) Riojas. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a friend to many. She worked tirelessly for many years in Plastic Manufacturing. Barbara can and will be forever remembered for her love of faith, family, and cooking, especially her tortillas, as well as being one of the greatest Dallas Cowboys fans. She was filled with love, generosity, and smiles and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her oldest son, Joe Capuchino and wife Margaret of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter, Stella Capuchino of Fort Worth, Texas, daughter, Graciela De La Rosa Rothhauser and husband Fred, of Cedar Creek, Texas. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as extended family members and close friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Geronimo Quiroga, sons Jerry Quiroga Jr, and David Quiroga.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A rosary service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home immediately followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Following the funeral, a graveside service will be conducted in Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
