Mr. Barry William Cooper was born on November 21, 1949, in Terrell, Texas to the parents of William Cooper and Ruth Watson. Barry passed away on June 21, 2021, in Austin, Texas surrounded by his loving wife and family. Barry was a longtime resident of Webberville, Texas.
Barry enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved the outdoors and spent many hours hunting, fishing, gardening and attending to his small pecan orchard. He also loved working and perfecting his beautiful lawn, which he took great pride in maintaining and perfecting. Barry was also an avid Longhorn sports fan, who never missed a game. He also enjoyed reading books by his favorite author James Patterson. Brother Barry Cooper was a longtime member of Marshall Lodge No. 22 A.M. & A.M., located in Marshall, Texas, for 47 years. He was presented with the Lodge 40 Year Service Award in 2014 for his many years of faithful membership. Barry was a Shriner and a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason.
Before his retirement, Barry worked for Dell Computers, W.L. Gore and Associates and ALCOA. He was a lifetime member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association for the University of Texas at Austin.
Barry is survived by his loving wife of forty-one years, Helen Sue Cooper. His children Denise Fitch (Dudley), Tracy Cooper (Lila), Stacy Hill (Kenneth), Angela Tidwell (Ronnie). Grandchildren Cameron Hill (Cassie), Chase Tolbert, Skye Tolbert, Chloe Cooper, Darbi Hill, Madison Cotton and great grandchild Keaton Hill.
Barry is preceded in death by his parents.
Barry was loved by so many and will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
