

Betty Loraine Kessel Creecy, beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. She was born on September 27, 1947 in Taylor, Texas to Dietrich and Helen Kessel.
Betty had multiple loves and interests through her life. Her biggest being her family and friends. Starting in elementary and through all of their adult lives, Betty enjoyed attending trips and events with her daughters and grandchildren. Betty loved being a very active member, in multiple capacities, in the UHO Little Miss Kickball program.
Betty’s greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was so happy spoiling, loving and doting on each and everyone of them.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Christi (Creecy) Lancaster, Casi Creecy and partner Ray Aguirre and Candi Creecy; siblings, Beverly Snowden and Dale Kessel; grandchildren: Ashlee Aguirre, Matthew Lancaster, Meghan and Kolby Cunningham; great-grandchildren: Kyla Franklin, Brooklyn and Jaxxon Trimm, Joshua Cunningham and Justin Chaney, along with her nephews, niece and extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert James Creecy III; parents Dietrich and Helen Kessel; great-grandson Londyn Trimm; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and Hospice Austin for their care during Betty’s illness. We would like to send a heartfelt and very special thank you to our Mother’s nurse Sophie Bitwayiki.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. in the Charles Walden Room. Committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
