Betty Hayden

Betty June Hayden passed away at the age of 83 on June 30, 2016 in Round Rock, Texas. Betty was born on March 15, 1933. She married Glen Hayden on October 17, 1953 at the age of 20. They had 3 children; Debbie, Mike and Donna.

She worked as a secretary and librarian for Austin Independent School District for 10 years. When the family business started she worked as the secretary for Hayden Concrete for several years.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting and being active in her church, Crestview Baptist.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Glen Hayden, her brothers-Oscar Drennan and Billie Dee Drennan and her sister Patsy Hayden. Also her granddaughter Tifani Leatherman.

She is survived by her brother-in-law Bill Hayden, her children daughter-Debbie Murchison and husband Andy, son-Mike Hayden and wife Paula, and daughter-Donna Leatherman and husband Kevin.

She had 8 grandchildren, Kristi Freitag, Jana Hayden, Jill Peterson, Nick Leatherman, Steven Murchison, Britney Pollard, Jeffrey Hayden, and Alex Leatherman. She also had 13 great grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends.
