

Born January 31, 1982, in Austin, Texas, Brendan Cordell Twomey was the oldest of three boys. He was a courageous, loving, role model for his surviving brothers, Rian and Gaven. A life-long resident of Pflugerville, Texas, Brendan graduated with the class of 2000 from Pflugerville High School.
Brendan was very passionate about sports as an avid Texas Longhorn fan and a devoted member of the freaks softball club. Brendan had a heart for his friends and family that knew the true meaning of unconditional love. Anyone who encountered Brendan was immediately his friend. His infectious smile and sincere hugs or handshakes created a warm trust that was never broken. He and his wife, Toni, have an incredible never-ending love. Together they brought Braxton Charles Twomey into this world on October 5, 2010. Brendan’s amazing love for others with his easygoing spirit lives on in his son, Braxton.
Brendan left us for a better world on May 25, 2011. He had a courageous and strong fight with brain cancer for over two years. During this battle he bravely paved the way for others to carry on the fight. Brendan will never be forgotten.
Along with his loving wife, Toni and their 7-month old son, Braxton, Brendan is survived by his parents, Charles Cordell Twomey and Kim Saxon. Rian Twomey and Gaven Saxon, Brendan’s brothers will miss him, as will other loving relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services celebrating Brendan’s life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Round Rock Christian Church, 22 Chalice Way, Round Rock, Texas. Committal services will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Park Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
