Aunt Ellen and Family --

We are so saddened by the loss of Uncle Bruce. He brought such joy to our lives with his kind and loving nature. He was - and will always be - my "birthday buddy" in sharing the same birth month and day of 11/11, and I will celebrate his life on birthdays ahead. We are blessed to have had him as our Uncle, and he has a very special place in our hearts - yesterday, today, and always. We love you all and extend our deepest sympathies. We hope you can feel our thoughts and love during this difficult time.

With all our love,
Jeff and Tami

Ellen, words cannot express to you how saddened the world has become because of the passing of Bruce. A true friend to all who took the time to know him. We spent many hours over a cup of coffee or on the golf course, talking about our families and the aches and pains of aging. Bruce loved you and his children very much and was extremely proud of their accomplishments in life. Knowing him has made me a better person.

Aunt Ellen, Melody, Wendy, and Bubba (I know you've outgrown that name, but it's how I know you) -- I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Bruce's death. I know he cared deeply for all of you and you have my deepest sympathy as you deal with this loss. May God bless and keep you as you find the strength to deal with this new reality. Know that God now holds Bruce in his care as he does you. Love from your California Cousin, Lisa

I haven't seen Bruce since we were all kids; I was Mary Lou's best friend and practically lived at the Troutman home off Burnet Road. There was always room for one more and I loved being included, even going to Trinity Lutheran on Sundays. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, I know how much love your family shares; Bruce is a great loss. Remember his love and the memories you created with him will always be with you. Your blessing is the years you all shared with him.
