I wish you were here.  I know you are watching from above and you see how close  Judy, Randy, Morgan & Brecklyn remain.  You are the tie that will forever be.  Your family misses you so, even little Anthony.  He talks about his "Papaw" all the time.  Please watch over them and lend them the Whatley support you always gave.  You will forever be in our hearts.

Calvin, I have so many memories of you, I guess I could write a book about the fun times you and Brad shared together. I remember taking you camping and how dedicated you were trying to catch a fish. I remember how you loved to tease the teachers at Sunday School and Bible School. You kept them all on their toes especially Mrs. Whitley. We grieve for you as you left us much too soon, but know you are in God's care now.

My husband and I were so very sad to hear of Calvin's passing.  He was a truly special person: funny, kind, honest, independent, professional, loyal, reliable, dependable and talented.  We were privileged to know him.  He took care of every appliance we owned and was always willing to solve weird problems. We will miss him so very much!

It was such a shock to read of Calvin's death, and we are so sad for your family.  I never dreaded appliance repair when it involved him, because you knew you would get a few fun stories and a nice chat along with a solution.  And he was a straight shooter regarding how to fix the problem.  I have no idea where to turn when my ice machine acts up next, and I doubt it will engender the warm feelings of Calvin's presence. Calvin was so knowledgeable about any appliance I needed help with and if he didn't have the answer he always knew exactly where to send me.  He was an honest and sincere man and I thought the world of him.  I am so sorry for your loss but know that he was someone that all of his clients enjoyed seeing at the door!

Calvin was so much more than my GO TO GUY for problems around my house, he became my friend. He always talked about his family with such love and  positively glowed when talking about his girls! I know I will miss him on so many levels....and it will be impossible to replace him! My deepest sympathies to the Whatley family.....Calvin, you will be so missed but I KNOW you are in a place of great wonderment and joy!----

It was so sudden.  There are so many things I wish I had said - thank you for always thinking of me & my family, thank you for understanding  what a witch I am sometimes and thank you for being the good man you were and taking such good care of my best friend and sister by choice.  I pray you know how much you meant to me and just how much I loved you.  It's not every day you find a friend that you can argue with and agree to disagree but still have no doubt  they have your back.  I know in my heart of hearts Calvin, that you were that friend.  

I'm so sorry I took our friendship for granted; I will be carrying that guilt for many years.   I really miss you and pray you are at peace.  Until we meet again,

It was a privilege to get to know Calvin. My prayors are with his family..So very sad..

Calvin was a person who was down to earth, that spoke his mind no matter what it was. Never tried to be someone he wasn't. Always made you feel welcomed. Was PROUD of his heritage & what it meant. We will never forget you Calvin. WE LOVE YOU CUZ.

I was stunned and saddend to see Calvin's obituary in today's Statesman.  He was much to young to have left us.  Calvin repaired every applicance in our home at least once and always did things right the first time.  He was a true professional in every sense of the word.  The Boykin family will truly miss him.
