

Carol Jean Gallo, 64, of Austin, Texas passed away on September 09, 2016 at 10:35 am in her home. Carol was born Carol Jean Hagstad on August 09, 1952 in Hempstead, New York to her parents, the late Harry and Doris Hagstad.
She is survived by her life partner of nineteen years, David “Cowboy” Banks; son Steven Gallo and daughter-in-law Tina Gallo; son Greg Gallo; step-daughter Tiffany Campbell and husband Eddie Campbell; grandchildren Jordan Gallo, Justin Gallo, Hope Gallo, and Payten Campbell, four siblings; brothers Michael Hagstad and wife Phyllis Hagstad; Robert Hagstad; William Hagstad and wife Mary Beth Hagstad, and sister, Susan Hagstad Armstrong.
Carol never met a stranger and had the biggest heart a person could have. She loved her animals, almost as much as people. Carol was raised in a family where wealth was measured in love, not by money. Carol was a life-long car salesperson, which was her passion. Carol sold many different brands of cars, all the way from Staten Island, New York to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and most recently in Austin, Texas at Roger Beasley Mazda Central. Carol excelled in a male dominated field, earning multiple salesperson of the month awards and even was named a four time Mazda national salesperson of the year.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A celebration service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel.
