I'm so sorry for your loss. Carol was an amazing nurse and co-worker. I learned so much from Carol while working hospice! She always had a smile on her face and was willing to teach everyone!

I had the honor of working with Carol at Hospice Austin for the past ten years. I was asked to "orient" Carol on the weekends. Let me just say, from day one, I was learning from Carol. She had an amazing wealth of knowledge that was never ending. I looked forward to calling her early on Saturday mornings when she would answer the phone, "Where am I going?" Carol's experience, knowledge and compassion will be greatly missed by Hospice Austin. However, I will miss someone I considered a true friend.

My mom was one of Carol's patients on hospice. Carol always had so much energy and light around her when she would visit us. She made a difference and I am sad that she is gone. I hope her family finds comfort in knowing that she touched my life, and my mom's life, with kindness and goodness.

Carol touched many lives at Hospice Austin. Both patients and staff. I will never forget her smile.

When Carol smiled it was like you could fill the love she had for all. She was a true friend and such a loving , positive lady.I would love to be like her. I am grateful I had the privilege to know such a special lady. I will truly miss her, but I will never forget her.

To the Kiehl Family...May you all find more peace each day. I will truly miss Carol and it was a pleasure to be with her and you all through such an intimate and vulnerable time. Carol is always with us, not just looking down on us.
