Cathy Dittlinger Burt

Cathy D. Burt passed too soon from this life on January 6, 2015 at the age of 61, after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 6, 1953 to Bill and Mary Kathyrn Dittlinger, and was a lifelong resident of Manor, Texas.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Ronny Burt; daughters Stephanie Burt Hollanders, Bridget Ellison and husband Johnny Ellison, son Jeff Stockwell and wife Gwen Stockwell; five grandchildren Taylor Hollanders, Brooke and Britten Ellison, Hunter and Brody Stockwell; sister Patty Krumm and husband J.R. Krumm; and a wealth of other dear family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Mary Kathyrn Dittlinger.

Cathy worked for Dittlinger Realty and Al Heinrich for over 30 years. She managed the office with a skill and expertise that were unmatched, and she was known to regularly “tell it like it is” which earned a great amount of respect amongst her peers and clients.

Her greatest gift, however, was being an incredible mother and grandmother. She was so caring, kind, fiercely protective, supportive, and generous to not only her children, but to all who had had the honor of knowing her. Her door was always open, and she loved with her whole heart. It was one of her greatest joys to have a full table for family dinners, and a room full of laughter and happiness. She loved to sit on the front porch and watch her grandbabies play in the yard. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Manor City Cemetery in Manor, Texas.
