Cecil is survived by his loving wife Ruth, whom he has been married to for 70 years, his son Michael Bennett of Buda and his daughter Kathleen Dusenbury and her husband Jeff of Spicewood.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father and three brothers: Troy Bennett, Ellege Bennett and Lloyd Dale Bennett.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel with visitation to be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.; interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
