Our beautiful mother, Celia Vallejo, age 89 of Round Rock, Texas, peacefully passed away September 12, 2019 as our beloved father took her by the hand to join Him in Heaven. She was born in Monterrey, Mexico, August 13, 1930. Celia attended Business school and then briefly worked at an accounting office. She married Ramon Vallejo in April of 1953 and was a loving stay at home wife and mother.

Our mother had a cute sense of humor and loved her children, grandchild, babies, flowers, plants, music and traveling, especially to Mexico and Colorado. Celia is survived by her children: Virginia, Edna, Marco, John, Jackie and Vini; grandchild, Nina; her brother, Ramon Torres, MD and family; sisters in law, Guillermina Reynaga and family, Maria Torres and family and Guadalupe Vallejo and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Ramon and daughter Celia.

Our family would like to thank Elvira Rubio, Nydia and Joe Ruiz for their bedside prayers and guidance. Thank you to everyone for your prayers and for grieving with us.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at St. William Catholic Church in the Sacred Heart Chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

The family welcomes flowers, however those wishing to make a contribution in lieu of flowers may wish to consider a Memorial Contribution in Celia's name to the Central Texas Food Bank. Our mother used to say how beautiful it is to satisfy hunger. www.centraltexasfoodbank.org
