Charlotte Alice Poulin, 83, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Cedar Park, Texas. She was born on July 25, 1942, in Newport, Vermont, to Raymond and Sylvia (Curtis) Moulton.
Charlotte was a woman of quiet strength, deep kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Those who knew her remember her as warm, steady, and generous in spirit. She had a wonderful sense of humor—often subtle and perfectly timed—that could bring comfort, lighten heavy moments, and make people feel at ease.
For 55 years, Charlotte worked as a cosmetologist, a profession she truly loved. To her, it was never just about hair—it was about people. She listened, laughed, shared stories, and formed lasting connections with those who sat in her chair. Through her work, she touched countless lives with her compassion, patience, and ability to make others feel seen and cared for.
Charlotte will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years, Paul Richard; her daughters, Kimberly and Paula; her grandchildren, Molly (Michael), Megan (Lonnie), Laura, and Erin (Andy); and her four great-grandchildren, Sarai, Nolan, Greyson, and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sylvia Moulton; her brothers and their wives, Charles and Maxine Moulton and Pete and Midge Moulton; her in-laws, Charlemagne and Simone Poulin, and Roger and Nancy Poulin; nephews Scott McDonald, Steve Poulin; and niece Susan Moulton. She is survived by Butch and Marlene Moulton, Coralie and Ted Dow, Charles and Nancy Poulin, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary in Cedar Park on February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Cook-Walden Capital Park in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s name may be made to Sonder Hospice, 223 W. Anderson Lane, Suite B700, Austin, Texas 78752.
Charlotte’s favorite color was blue. In her honor, the family invites those attending her service to wear blue or another bright color to celebrate her life.
Charlotte’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and humor. Her family will forever cherish the laughter she shared so freely and the quiet ways she made even ordinary moments special. Though she is no longer with us, the warmth of her love and the sound of her laughter will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
