She was born in Mendota, IL to Norman and Betty (Poole) Faber on November 6, 1957. She held a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. After receiving her degrees, she traveled as an auditor for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and later worked for 15 years for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. She married Michael Moseley on August 13, 1990 in El Paso, Texas. Cheryl was actively involved in her children’s activities, including Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and 4-H Shooting Sports. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking for family, friends and coworkers. She also loved animals and adopted many dogs during her lifetime, including rescuing retired Greyhounds.
She is survived by her children, Randa Moseley of Georgetown, Texas and Travis Moseley of Pflugerville, Texas; one brother, David (Deb) Faber of Princeton, Illinois; four sisters, Deborah (Gary) Cartwright of Princeton, Illinois, Barbara (Nils) Larson of Austin, Texas, Colleen (Bill) Nash of Herriman, Utah, and Patricia (Doug) White of Round Rock, Texas; 24 nieces and nephews; and 23 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Ezra Faber and Betty June (Poole) Faber, and her brother, Richard A. Faber.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday September 30, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
