Chidinma Rose Ohiagu

Chidinma Rose Ohiagu, also known as Grace, was an amazing mother, wife and a caring person. Grace was born in Nigeria and was a resident of Round Rock, Texas at her death on Thursday, May 19, 2011. Her smile filled the room and was very welcoming. She was greatly beloved by her husband, children, family, church family and friends. She will be forever missed by us all.

Grace attended and graduated from Oboro Secondary School, Oboro Abia State Nigeria. She immigrated to the United States in 1990 where she met and married her husband Chikezie Ohiagu. At the time of her illness, she was attending the school of Nursing which she discontinued shortly before her illness.

Grace was a Christian who achieved control over her tongue. She spoke when it was necessary and often said that a Christian should have control over their speech. She believed, and often said that intelligence is not measured by the multitude of your words. She was a good listener and a supporter of her husband both in ministry and on temporal matters. Grace was a baptized member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and was a foundational member of the Light Bearers Seventh Day Adventist Church in Round Rock Texas. She served as a Deaconess in the Church, and taught the children Sabbath School class every week; she also did special music on occasions. Grace was a peacemaker who avoided confrontation, but was by no means passive.

Grace was preceded in death by her father Mark Enyinnaya, mother Chianuka Enyinnaya, father-in-law John Ohiagu and three sisters.

Grace is survived by her husband Chikezie Ohiagu, five children, Shadae, Roseanna, Joanna, Esther, and John; two brothers Ejike Enyinnaya, and Chinedu; one sister, Charity; mother-in-law, Anna Ohiagu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 19, 2011 at 1.00 p.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4 Applegate Circle, Round Rock, TX. 78665. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks, 14501 North IH 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660
