He is survived by his loving wife Meng-Chin Chiang Lin, daughter-in-law Chen-Ching Lin, son C.K. James C.K. Lin & daughter-in-law R.E Susan Lin, son H.T. Morgan Lin & daughter-in-law Yuning Lin. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren (Pei-Yin, Lily, Joseph, Daniel C., Daniel P., and Sarah), as well as one grandson-in-law (Robert Twigg). He was preceded in death by his eldest son C.M. Frank Lin.
Ching has worked as Agriculture Specialist for Department of Agriculture of Republic of China for almost all his life, which also included two-year assignment to Libya, Africa as part of agriculture support team. After retirement, he spent another nine years in “Green” effort beautifying Taiwan cities before he moved to be with his son in Austin, Texas in 1996.
