

She married J.M. Liles, Jr. in 1948, and she traveled to England with him while he was serving in the United States Air Force. Clintie loved to sew, shop and travel. She worked as a Tax Examiner for the Texas Comptroller’s Office, until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters, Billie Taylor, Jessie (Mickie) Taylor, and Anna Ruth Cone. She is survived by her sister, Tommie I. Taylor; and four great-grand nieces and nephews; and one great-great grand nephew.
The family would like to thank Clintie’s caregivers, Diana Barnes and Vera Zapata; Resolutions Hospice and all of the staff that assisted with her care; and Dr. Sukanya “Dr. B” Burugu, M.D.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville.
