Curtis Preusse, 73, my friend for 60 years and husband for 47 years died on May 13, 2021 from complications of a stroke suffered Nov. 11, 2020.  Curtis graduated from Wm. B. Travis High School in 1966 and got his BS degree in Printing Management from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Tx, in 1970.
He worked with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City, The Drawing Board and Susan Crane Packaging out of Dallas, Tx and formed his own Independent Sales Group, Curtis and Company, selling greeting cards and gift related products when he was in Atlanta, Ga. He operated Showrooms at the Atlanta Merchandise Mart and owned several retail stores on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina at Shelter Cove Marina and in Shelter Cove Mall.  Then he went on to own and operate Colorfair, an Art Framing Company in Port Richey Florida, doing art and framing for locals, as well as, producing Coastal Related Art for Retailers along the Atlantic and Gulf Coast.  He was very talented in art and design with a good eye for color.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 11:00 am in Section E at Cook Walden Capital Park, 14501 North IH 35, Pflugerville, Tx.

Every room in our home contains art beautifully framed by this creative, intelligent man.   We are so enriched because of his love for design and beauty.   Rest in peace,  dear neighbor and friend.

Curtis we miss you very much rest in peace you your like a dad to us and a very close friend showed us love and friendship lots of memories we have from texas, Georgia, Tennessee, and massachusetts and many more journeys we had. Maybe you have a peaceful and ever lasting journey in heaven life isnt the same with you. Love stan and Julie's forever
