

Cyndi was born on June 27, 1961 in Houston, Texas to Wayne and Joyce Ramsey. She grew up with her sisters in Estes Park, Colorado and they returned to the Central Texas area during her childhood. She graduated from Round Rock High School and attended Texas Tech University.
Cynthia worked as a computer specialist both here in the United States and in Amsterdam, Netherlands overseas. She had a passion for sewing, vintage clothing, rescuing animals, writing, reading and learning about different cultures. She enjoyed spending time with her family and fostering cats/ kittens for Starfish Cat & Kitten Rescue. She thoroughly enjoyed when her grandchildren would help her take care of all of her foster kittens.
She is survived by her father, Wayne Ramsey; her sisters Janet Skinner, Kris Eaton and their spouses; her children Adrienne Jacob, Michael Ryan Serrano, Allyson Serrano and their spouses; her beloved grandchildren Alyssa Jacob, Hannah Jacob, Tyler Jacob, Aiden Garcia, Alex Garcia, Lincoln Serrano and Lennox Serrano; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cyndi will be remembered for her tremendous strength, her huge heart and unconditional love for her family.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Hospice Austin for their care, compassion, generosity, with special thank you to Cyndi’s primary nurse Griselda for her excellent work and thorough care. We would also like to thank Chaplain Dave, his compassion, prayers and time spent with us on this journey will be remembered by us all.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
