Dale is survived by his high school sweetheart Jo Gayle Foster. They were married for sixty-five wonderful years. He also survived by daughter Jill, son in law Rick, and grandson Joseph Couey.
Dale retired from the Texas Highway Department. He was very active in the Austin Youth Sports Programs. He was voted into the Austin Sports Hall of Honor in 1982 and was a longstanding member of the Texas Association of Sports Officials.
Dale was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown, Texas.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:30 am at Cook Walden Capital Parks in the Hill Country Cremation Garden.
