Daniel Rene Gonzalez

He was born in Austin, Texas on September 27, 1973 to Maria Imelda Salinas of Austin, Texas and Richard L. Gonzalez of Round Rock, Texas.

He grew up in Austin and was a 1992 Anderson High School Graduate.

Danny is survived by both his parents, his brother Ricardo David Gonzalez of Austin, Texas, his niece Ashley Niccole Gonzalez of Houston, Texas, his great nephew, Caiden Ortiz of Houston, Texas, his beloved dog Scooby along with countless aunts, uncles and cousins.

Danny was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his maternal grandparents, Belia Garcia Salinas and Juventino Ernesto Salinas of Falfurrias, Texas and paternal grandparents, Margaret L. Hernandez and Arnold Gonzalez of Elgin, Texas.

Danny had a Heart of Gold and many, many friends from all walks of life. Danny was a huge supporter of the Texas Longhorns and was a friend to all and a stranger to none. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Danny was an Independent Auto Appraiser for 30 years.

Viewing will be at Cook-Walden Capital Parks in Pflugerville,Texas on Saturday January 20, 2024 from 5-7 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7 pm. Burial to follow at a later date.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
