Daniel Herrera, age 63, passed away October 27, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born March 12, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to Herman and Gloria (Longoria) Herrera. He worked in construction for many years in addition to operating a pool cleaning business. Daniel was a great handyman and helped out any way he could. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid Astros and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Georgia Buchtel; five children, Daniel Herrera, Jr., Berneice Herrera Martinez, Isaiah Herrera, Ireland Herrera and Camryn Herrera; one granddaughter, Alabama Martinez; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2019 in The Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with burial following at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery.
