Dantywine "DJ" Micale Worthy Jr.

DJ accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Park Spring Baptist Church in Manor, TX.

DJ was loving, caring and a devoted son. He was very protective of his little sister Dae'yonna. He loved football, basketball, video games and making music at his uncle Christopher Taylor's studio.

DJ graduated from Weiss high school with the class of 2022.

DJ worked as an independent contractor alongside his father.

DJ departed his earthly life to be with the lord on May 29, 2025. DJ was preceded in death by his grandmother Sharon Uneth Williams, grandfather James Taylor, little cousin Ashley Dinkins, grandfather Gregorio Trejo Sr, great aunt Gregorita Trejo, and grandfather L.C. Williams Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Danielle S. Worthy, loving father Dantywine M. Worthy Sr, of Austin, Texas, sister Dae'yonna Worthy of Austin, Texas, grandmother Lesa Trejo-Worthy, of Austin, Texas, grandmother Julia Williams, of Austin, Texas, great grandmother Shirley Faye Taylor of Austin, Texas, nieces, nephews, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. DJ is also leaving behind Sophie Hernandez, his one and only love for 9 years.

A visitation for DJ will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Mt Zion Baptist Church, 2938 E 13th St, Austin, TX 78702.

A committal service will follow at Cook Walden Capital Parks 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
