When Darlene would bring her Mom, Phyllis to Bible Study at Riverbend Church, she would always stop at our table where three of us are in our nineties and hug us and wish us some kind of a sweet greeting. Also. I always respected her for the way she cared for her Mom whom I have known for many years.. My love and prayers go out to all of your family at this time. God bless you all.

Doug, I had no idea Darlene was ill. When I spoke with her on her birthday, while you all were eating at Olive Garden, she sounded happy. I am SO glad I got to speak with her then. I know she'll keep chairs right beside her for us when we are all together again.
God be with you as you grieve.

Darlene was always smiling. The short time we knew her through Seniors on the go, we always shared a few laughs. Our heart goes out to Doug.

Darlene was one of the good ones. Her passion to share the message of Jesus Christ with everyone was amazing. It didn't matter who it was or where we were she always worked in something about the Lord. She had a beautiful soprano voice that was angelic when she hit high. Her love for her mother and Doug was superb. She was surely a great example of what us Christians are supposed to be.

(I stole this picture off Facebook because it turned out so well and was just taken a couple of weeks ago.)
