Darlene Sue Haight

Darlene was born September 28th 1952 in Akron, Ohio to Helen and James Moran who preceded her in death. She is survived by Charles Haight (companion); son, Damian and partner Billy Daniel; daughter, Michelle and husband Mark McCandless; grandchildren, Mark, Tommy, Lillie, Shane, Shawn and Ashley; sisters, Janice (Paul) Siglock, and Deborah Hanson; brother, Robert Moran; and many nieces and nephews.

Darlene was retired from the Cedar Park Police Department as a 911 operator. She enjoyed working in her rose garden; spending time with her children and grandchildren; baking homemade Christmas cookies with her son, daughter and grandchildren and listening to Cher’s music.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center emergency room, IMC and ICU staff for their compassionate care of Darlene and her family during this difficult time.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 1:00 in the afternoon with visitation held the hour prior in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Entombment will follow the chapel service at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery. Services entrusted to Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home with Chaplain Roger Wilson officiating.
