Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we would walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again.

We promise to keep the tradition and fire up a BBQ pit in your honor every Juneteenth. Doug or Bill will start the fire because you know I have always been afraid of lighter fluid (smiles) Peaceful journey Uncle Dave…until we meet again.

Rest easy Uncle Dave. You were such a kindhearted person who showed nothing but love for those of us on the outside. You and Linda always made anyone feel welcome and part of the family. You will be forever missed and loved by many. 🕊
