Born in 1951 in Niagara Falls, New York to Fritz and Barbara Cooper, he joined the United States Air Force, which had taken him to numerous locations throughout the country. His love for travel ultimately brought him to Honduras where he adopted his beloved son, David Winston Cooper. He was a proud father who never wavered when it was time to stand up to his moral beliefs. He had a passion for New Orleans and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Taiwan. David retired from the state in 2005.
David leaves behind his son, his partner and best friend in life, George Chang, as well as family and friends too numerous to mention. He will be sorely missed by everyone in his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fritz and Barbara Cooper.
