

David Keith Evans passed away surrounded by his family at Seton Williamson County Hospital on Saturday, January 10, 2015 after a long battle with polycystic kidney disease and multiple complications related thereto. Dave was born December 15, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to Carrol and Bob Evans, who preceded him in death.
Dave graduated in 1979 from MacArthur High School in San Antonio, Texas. He was very active in all sports, especially football, baseball and basketball. He was very popular and had many friends. After graduation, Dave helped his parents with their day care centers, worked as a cable man, and later went to work in the oilfield as a mud-logger. In 1993, he began working in the commercial refrigeration business and went on to own his own company, Precision Refrigeration. Dave was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed spending the fall weekends hunting with his family and friends. He also loved fishing and golfing. He was very involved in his daughters’ sports activities and recreation and community events, including Little League Softball and Girl Scouts.
David leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 23 years, Tasha Reese Evans and his two beautiful devoted daughters, Julie and Abby. Other surviving family members include Bob and Jann Evans and their children Jessica and Ross of Marble Falls, Texas; Michael and Kristy Evans and daughters Christina and Lindsey of Bossier City, Louisiana; Tim and Susie Evans and their children Amy and Eric of San Antonio, Texas; and Sandra Real and her children Jonathan Caillouette, Jennifer Caillouette and Alex Real of D’Hanis, Texas. David is also mourned by multiple extended family members including, but not limited to, Brenda and Chris Gutierrez of Galveston, Texas; Lisa and Eric Iverson and their children Chase and Dylan of Vail, Arizona; and David and Michelle Reese and their daughter Josie of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
A memorial service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home.
