She was a proud graduate of Plainview High School class of 1977. She then went on to make a career in accounting for many years. Debra married her husband , Gene Tolliver in February 1982. They remained married for 40 years. To this union they were blessed with three daughters, Gayla, Elizabeth, and Shelbie.
Debra accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She loved her church and church family, where is faithfully served.
On Friday, January 21, 2022 Debra answered the call of her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Grady Morton; mother, Avis Morton; brother, Ronnie Morton; sister, Glenda Elledge; daughter, Shelbie Douglas; great grandson, Julius Stelly.
Left to honor and cherish her memory are, husband Gene Tolliver of Georgetown, TX; two daughters, Gayla Crathers of Austin, TX, Elizabeth Townsend of Taylor, TX; five granddaughters, Amber Villanueva (Bobby) of Taylor, TX, Joslin Stelly (Paul) of Manor, TX, Analisa Gamboa of Lubbock, TX, Heaven Crathers of Stephenville, TX, Jevaeh Crathers of Athens, TX; two grandsons, Dominic Crathers (Aiko) of Rockdale, TX, Alex Townsend Jr, of Taylor, Tx; six great grandsons, Ezekiel and Eris Villanueva, Adonis, Azaiah and Amare Stelly, Malakai Crathers; two sisters, Alane Archer of Lockney, TX, Barbra Floyd of Enda, TX,; four brothers, Robert Morton of Amarillo, TX, Dickie Morton of Seminole, TX, Montie Morton of Emery, TX, Carey Morton of Telferner, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
