

Delia was married to the love of her life, Richard, and together they shared 60 years of beautiful and steadfast partnership. Their life together was a true testament to commitment, love, and the enduring strength of family.
Delia devoted her life to caring for her family, known for her kindness, gentle strength, and quiet generosity. She found joy in simple moments — watching her novellas, sharing treats, and offering blessings to those she loved. Her steady presence and devotion helped shape her grandchildren’s lives, leaving a lasting legacy of love and faith.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughters Sandy (Donny) Redding, Jennifer Glenn, and Michelle (Louis) Flores; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings Carol, Albert, Mike, Maryhelen, Esther, and Gilbert.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Maria Luisa and Guadalupe E. Rodriguez; her brother, Guadalupe Rodriguez Jr.; and her son, Richard Gessner Jr.
A viewing and rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home in the Walden Room. A Catholic Mass will follow on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church, with a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Cook-Walden.
Delia will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in the peace of Christ.
